As Essential as Food and Water
Whenever I moved to a new place one of my first priorities was to get a library card and find a good place to swim. While it has been a long time since I moved here, as I got ready to leave the house this morning with planned stops at the Y and the library I was feeling especially thankful for these institutions.
The Lilly Library in Florence.
The Hampshire Regional YMCA.
Collections and Other Stuff I Like 
The library and the Y: the two buildings I find as soon as I move somewhere, too. Even if I have to pay a little extra than I would’ve at PLANET BEEFCAKE or wherever, I just like the community feel of the Y.
